Overview
Suspended code display panels, fabricated for the NODE Foundation exhibition in Palo Alto, California. Custom steel frames present source code on screens hung against an expanded-metal mesh wall. The frames were built to precise tolerances so the panels hang level and read as a consistent set, with cable management kept out of sight.
Fabrication Process
Steel flat bar was CNC plasma cut and welded into portrait frames, then suspended on cable rigging sized for the screen loads. Power and data routing was concealed within the frame profile and channeled into the mesh wall behind.
