Based in San Francisco, California, Poorground doesn't stop at the shop floor. We deliver, rig, mount, and assemble finished work on site — so the piece lands exactly as designed in galleries, museums, retail spaces, and event venues across the Bay Area.
What We Do
The last ten feet are where projects succeed or fail. We handle the install end-to-end: transport from the shop, rigging and suspension, mounting to real surfaces, and the field adjustment that makes a piece read clean once it's in the room. We've installed suspended display arrays, backlit window builds, and freestanding exhibition structures — and we plan the install before we ever cut steel.
Our Approach
Install is designed in from the start. Every assembly is engineered for transport, access, and the realities of the site — load paths, mounting surfaces, ceiling structure, and tight load-in windows. We survey the space, plan the sequence, and build in the adjustability to absorb whatever the field throws at us.
