Overview
Suspended array of portrait digital displays, fabricated for the NODE Foundation digital art exhibition in Palo Alto, California. Custom steel mounting frames hang from cable suspension above the gallery floor, presenting grids of digital artworks. Each frame was fabricated to precise tolerances so the displays read as a clean, aligned set across the room.
Fabrication Process
Steel flat bar was CNC plasma cut and welded into portrait display frames. Cable suspension was engineered for the screen loads and rigged to hang level from the structure above. Power and data routing was concealed within the frame profile for an uncluttered presentation.
